Winter Wonderland

With December upon us, and Christmas just around the corner, the dance season has been flying by! We hope that you have been enjoying the dance events thus far, and that you continue to do so for the rest of the dance season.

CDC's 20th Anniversary Ball & Showcase

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the club, and we are marking the event with a very special 20th Anniversary Ball and Showcase. Your Executive's Special-Events Planning Committee has been working hard on what is promising to be a very exciting evening. More information is available in the President's Address, and additional details will be forthcoming in the new year as plans are finalized.

President's Address

To members of the Classic Dance Club I wish to express my sincerest appreciation for your turn out at our dance functions. Our executive is always inspired by your enthusiastic support. We take pride in providing a most friendly dance environment, in a great facility with a superb dance floor and fantastic music.

Preparations for our 20th Anniversary Ball for May 6, 2005 are well underway. We have just received confirmation from Barbara Ferchuk and Brent Smith, (American Style Smooth & Rhythm Professional Dance Champions from Vancouver ), who will be honoring us with a Nine Dance Showcase Extravaganza, followed by Workshops the next day. Both Barbara and Brent served on the CDC Executive in the early years of the club, and we are really looking forward to having them help us celebrate the club's 20th Anniversary.

The Christmas Season is almost here. On behalf of the CDC Executive I would like to wish all of our members a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Yours sincerely,

Garry R.
