The Procrastinator's New Year's Ball held last January was
a huge success, but unfortunately, our first dance of 2005 is a little
too far away from New Year's for even the best Procrastinators, and so
we will will be having a regular dance in January, 2005.
Music Committee
As often happens during the summer, new music has been added
to the CDC Music Library. If anyone has CDs which you are willing to
share, please talk to Garry or any member of the Executive. Your help
in providing quality music for our dances is very appreciated.
President's Address
After a cool summer, the heat is turning up for a fabulous
Dance Season. 2005 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Classic Dance
Club, and plans are already underway for celebrating this wonderful
milestone.
I wish to express my sincere gratitude to our current executive who
have diligently worked over the summer on your behalf preparing for
another dance year. Their enthusiasm, devotion, and creativity was
very exciting. I would especially like to thank my wife Lisa - for
being a Co-founder of the CDC, for serving numerous times as your
President, for her unwavering support and advice, along with devoting
so much of her time and efforts to keep this Club running smoothly.
As the year unfolds, we, the executive, will keep you
informed of upcoming dance events. Your continued membership in our
Club is most valued and appreciated. Please encourage your friends
and acquaintances to try the "Classic Experience" with its terrific
music, superb dance floor, and friendly atmosphere.
All the Best in the upcoming year! Happy Dancing!
Garry R.
