December 2003 Newsletter
Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!
With December upon us, and Christmas just around the corner, the dance
season has been flying by! We hope that you have been enjoying the
dance events thus far, and that you continue to do so for the rest of
the dance season.

evening, and that dancing will commence at 7:45p.m. As well, there
will be a light hot meal served mid-evening. Tickets for the event
will only be sold at the door.

CDC's 19th Annual Ball and Showcase
Now is a good time to start thinking about whether you would be
interested in doing a dance routine for our Annual Ball and Showcase
to be held on Friday, April 2, 2004. As always, club members are
given priority in the selection process. The response to this dance
since 2000 has been wonderful, and it has become one of our special
events. If you have any questions, please speak to any Executive
Member. More information will follow in the new year.
President's Address
As another year draws to a close, my heart warms with gratitude to all our
Members, Guests, and especially to a dedicated Executive Committee for
their
continued support. It has been has a very busy season, so it is great to
have you come out to the dances, even when you are tired!
The Music Committee has been adding new selections to the CDC Music
Library. You've likely noticed that we have also been varying our D.J.s.
Remember, the D.J.s are there to help everyone enjoy the dance.
We encourage you to invite your friends to check out our fabulous dance
floor (thanks to our caretaker, Pius!), and to ask people of all ages
and levels of dancers to come out.
Thanks Again to my Fantastic ``TEAM!''
Wishing Everyone a Safe & Happy Holiday Season,
Yours for the love of DANCE,
Lisa R.
Special Shoe Sale
An opportunity to purchase new and used ballroom dance shoes is being

Sale of shoes will be open to everyone! To get involved, please speak
to Lisa R. (CDC) or Ev B. (U. of S. BDC) Watch for further
