Welcome Everyone!
As we leave an unusually HOT summer, our very hard working
Executive Committee wishes to invite you back for a new season of HOT
Dancing! The executive is looking forward to another great year of
fun, socializing, and dancing as we try to make the CDC events
fabulous for you!

Dance Dates
It is our pleasure to inform you that we are booking two years in
advance with the Pensioners & Pioneers Pavilion.
Please note that, by popular demand, Nancy of Nancy's
Dancin' (Ballroom & Country Footwear) will have shoes for sale at
our Sept. 20, 2002 dance.
We would also like to draw special attention to the
``Procrastinator's New Year's Ball,'' which is being planned for Friday,
January 3, 2003.
Music Committee
The Music Committee has had a busy summer previewing,
selecting, rating, and recording music for your enjoyment. Many, many
hours have gone into this serious process. The CDC's Music Library now
boasts approximately 800 selections which have been carefully
scrutinized. For their generosity, we would like to convey our
warmest thanks to: May H., Howard B., Glen & Elinor W., Jason R., and Lori R.!
President's Address
Thank You to everyone for helping make our recent 17th
Anniversary Ball such a resounding success. Thank You again to all the
performers and to Dave K. for being our very capable Emcee. We
are very proud to show representation from all the local Ballroom
Dance Groups, and hope the trend will grow and continue.
It has been interesting and rewarding in returning to our
``roots'' at the P & P Pavilion. We value the wonderful floor, and the
gracious treatment by the facility staff, and especially, Pius, who
helps out in so many ways. Thank You everyone for helping clear the
tables, and keep the venue tidy. Your help and attendance are most
appreciated.
Garry and I appreciate the opportunity to share our
dance knowledge with this very fine group, and would like to extend
our heartfelt ``Thanks'' to Glen, Elinor, Jason, and Nicole for
assisting us in instructing the lessons this past year.
There aren't enough words to express the gratitude to this CDC
Executive Committee for their loyalty, dedication, and friendship, so
I'll simply say, ``Thank You to Each and Every one of You.'' I Love You
all!
Warmest Wishes to Everyone for a Happy Dance Year,
Lisa R.
