15th Anniversary Ball

We are delighted and proud to be hosting, on behalf of our Members, our 15th Anniversary Ball and Dinner Dance. Thank you for your enthusiastic response! There will be a special dance ``Showcase'', and Presentations to honour life-time Members, so please encourage family, friends, and guests to come out and support the event. Annual General Meeting

Our 15th AGM will be held at 8:00pm on Friday, May 12, 2000 in the Commonwealth Ballroom of the Quality Hotel. There will be no lesson that evening. We appreciate your interest and support in attending as it is your club to enjoy!

If you are interested in serving on the Classic Dance Club Executive please contact the Club. (Serving on the Executive requires about one to two evenings per month.) We would like to convey our warmest thanks to those who are letting their names stand for the upcoming year.

Dance Dates for 2000-2001

Our dance dates have been booked with the Quality Hotel for September, 2000 through June, 2001. All dances will be held at the Quality Hotel - Saskatoon City Centre (the former Ramada) at 90-22nd Street East. With your continued interest, support, encouragement, and enthusiasm we anticipate a great season!

Presidents' Message

As this 15th year comes to a close, we wish to thank a very loyal and committed Executive for a job well done! They shall be receiving their personal Thank You Notes for the many hours they put in to ensure that the Club runs smoothly. We truly adore them for all the various tasks they have performed! Thank You: Glen, Elinor, Leah, Brenda, Shelley, Robert, Sharon, Jake, Julie Anne, Greg, and Evan. As for Garry and myself -- well, we just love what we do!

We have really enjoyed instructing this past year, and valued the comments and enthusiasm shown. Our heartfelt thanks go to Elinor and Glen, and Todd and Leah, who so capably assisted or taught some of the lessons. We all commented and noticed how appreciative and fun the groups were.

To you, our Members, we convey a very warm Thank You! Your words of encouragement, appreciation, and suggestions have shown us that you really enjoy the functions, and look forward to them. We value your attendance and rely on it to maintain quality and costs. As the Club grows, we can keep prices down, but the numbers reflect or predict those ends. Tell your friends and let us continue to keep the Classic Dance Club special, as a place to enjoy for it's quality, ambience, space, and friendly atmosphere.
